The Green River/Rock Springs/Sweetwater County-Joint Powers Water Board (JPWB) is accepting applications for an Engineer. This full-time, FLSA exempt, fully benefited position is located at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in Green River, Wyoming. The position is responsible for (but not limited to) all planning, engineering, and project management on JPWB facilities. Candidates must be a licensed professional (Civil) engineer (or ability to reciprocate from another State), with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of related professional engineering experience. The JPWB offers an excellent benefit package including full participation in the Wyoming Retirement System and Health Insurance. Salary range for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Town of Pine Bluffs is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Public Works Director to supervise the Public Works and utility departments and staff.  The areas of responsibility include electric systems, water and sanitary sewer, trash and recycling, streets and alleys, parks and cemetery, facility maintenance, recreation facilities to include an outdoor pool, and airport facility and grounds maintenance.

The selected candidate will oversee and manage his/her respective departments, manage and ensure budgetary compliance with operations & CIP budgets for the departments, oversee and manage CIP projects, bidding, contracts, and construction and regularly conduct infrastructure inspections. He/she will also handle personnel matters, interface with staff on issues, and coordinate activities with other department directors and staff. The Director will have regular communication with the Pine Bluffs governing body, the Wyoming Municipal Power Agency, Wyoming Association of Rural Water, Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, engineering firms, and contractors/vendors.

An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience which provides the knowledge, ability and skill necessary to perform the job satisfactorily is required. Experience in supervision in a government and/or a construction setting is preferred.  Candidate must also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have demonstrated customer service skills.
