| Small Surface Water Systems

This class will cover surface water treatment systems including system relevant SDWA regulations, conventional and direct filtration, jar testing, coagulation chemistry, application and dosing of coagulants, and how to profile a filter. The class will tour local conventional and slow sand filtration plants. This class is funded by the Region VIII EPA Office of Drinking Water. Please note: This is a stand alone class being held prior to the WARWS Conference. The WARWS Spring Training Conference will be held April 17th-20th. Math Tutorial Classes. Instructor: Mark Court. Each class will be limited to 10 and is specifically designed for exam preparation for those who haven't passed their test. Pre-Registration is REQUIRED. The areas we will be covering in this 7-hour Math Tutorial Class will be Volume, Flow, Velocity, Milligrams per Liter to Pounds per Day Calculations. Bring a calculator, note paper, a pen and pencil.
