Pre-Conference Tuesday April 13th 8 hours 8 AM - 5 PM All licenses Track 1 - EPA New Rules and Updates Track 2 - Using our Resources Wisely
Room BU 308, Park in TB. Casper College Map Track 1 – Region VIII EPA will spend the day updating us on changes in federal requirements and implementation strategy. Jack Rychecky, Tiffany Mifflin, John Gillis, Breann Bockstahler, Mindy Mohr and Mary Wu will all be there to tell us what changes in the rules will mean to us. Come with your questions and leave with the answers! Track 2 – Using our resources wisely will focus on sustainability. One of the greatest challenges of water and wastewater system management is ensuring the system’s financial health. This class will equip managers, operators and staff with tools to evaluate system financial health, to educate your board and the public and overcome political barriers to making your system sustainable. Track 3 – Excel for Operators - Limited to 20. Will be held at Casper College. The class will cover the fundamentals of Excel including creating, editing, and formatting worksheets and working with charts. The class will be taught by Tonya Nichols a Systems Administrator with a natural resources development company. This class is funded by a grant from Region VIII EPA Office of Drinking Water.

Vendor setup may begin after 3PM on Tuesday, the 13th. We will have late registration that evening with many arriving throughout the evening, as well as the hotel sponsored welcome happy hour in front of the registration booth. Officially, the Exhibit Hall will open at the 10am break, Wednesday the 14th. Game night/putt putt will be Wednesday night, the banquet is Thursday night. Teardown can begin after the 3:00PM break Thursday afternoon, though we welcome anyone to stay until the end. The social hour before the banquet will be held in the vendor hall starting at 5:30 Thursday night. |
